ESTIA and ESTIA Powerful series air-to-water heat pump

The ESTIA and ESTIA Powerful heat pumps are a complete system designed to use air as an energy source for space heating and domestic hot water. The system can be used to heat and cool the air and prepare domestic hot water. It is adapted to connect various heating devices, so the investor and users can adjust its operation to their own needs in terms of heating the air in the facility.
System heat pumps air-to-water ESTIA and ESTIA Powerful can be successfully connected to photovoltaic panels - this way the operation of heating in the facility will be even cheaper or even free.
The split heat pump system offered by Toshiba consists of three separate modules:
- outdoor unit,
- hydraulic module,
- hot water tank.

The outdoor unit in the ESTIA and ESTIA Powerful air-to-water heat pump systems is equipped with a dual rotary DC inverter compressor that allows a wide range of system control. It is available in 1- and 3-phase versions. The external units of this system are characterized by high cooling capacity from 6,0 to 13,0 kW and heating from 8,0 to 16,0 kW. At the same time, they provide high efficiency, which is confirmed by the EER (from 2,71 to 3,66) and COP (from 4,30 to 4,88).

Toshiba's hydraulic modules for air-to-water heat pump systems have the highest energy efficiency in their class. They serve hot utility water with a temperature of +40 degrees Celsius to +75 degrees Celsius. At the same time, they allow you to operate two independent temperature zones in the facility and control the temperature of water or air. Toshiba hydraulic modules can work with various heat receivers, including radiators, underfloor heating and fan coil units. The device is installed inside buildings and can be connected with an external unit (aggregate) by an installation with a maximum length of 30m and a height difference of 30m (the smallest system is an exception, where the length of the installation should not exceed 15m in length and 10m in height difference).
The hydraulic module is available in the following versions:
ESTIA Powerful 5 - in the 8kW and 11kW version and the reserve heater capacity of 3,0, 6,0 and 9,0 kW,
ESTIA 5 – in 4,5 kW, 8 kW, 11 kW, 14 kW and 16 kW versions and with heating capacities of 3,0, 6,0 and 9,0 kW.

The hot water tank, for the maximum reduction of heat losses, is equipped with internal insulation and Duplex stainless steel. The stub pipes and coils are made of acid-resistant stainless steel 316L, which guarantees high efficiency of the device and ensures safety of use. HWT utility water tanks are equipped with a heater and a safety valve. The manufacturer sells them with a 3-year warranty on the elements of the tank equipment. The offer includes tanks with a capacity of 200 and 300 liters.
ESTIA thermodynamic heat pump

An air-to-water heat pump designed to provide domestic hot water throughout the year. It provides best-in-class performance and energy efficiency (A+ energy class). The compact design of the device, consisting in combining the evaporator, condenser and hot water tank in one housing, saves space and facilitates installation.
The ESTIA thermodynamic heat pump is designed for indoor installation. It draws heat from the outside air - e.g. a basement, laundry room, garage or kitchen. Its additional advantage is the best in its class fan static pressure and a wide operating range. The pump is equipped with an electric heater for the possibility of obtaining even higher water temperature - as a result, the device provides a maximum water temperature of 60 degrees C using only the heat pump and 65 degrees C using the heat pump and the heater.

The device can successfully cooperate with photovoltaic panels and solar collectors. Can be used for underfloor heating. Its advantage is flexible control enabled by communication via the Modbus protocol Smart Grid Ready mode.
