Financing for a heat pump 2023
in the Moje Prąd program, or how to buy an air conditioner cheaper
The fifth edition of the Moje Prąd program was launched in April 2023, the aim of which is to provide financial support to prosumers who generate electricity for household needs. As part of it, you can receive, among others: co-financing for an air-to-air heat pump and air-water heat pumps.
Maintaining the perfect temperature indoors has never been easier and so cheap. They are covered by the government program My Electricity air conditioners available in our offerthat operate in the air-air heat pump mode. Choose efficient and reliable devices that effectively cool and heat rooms. Provide yourself and your loved ones with high comfort indoors and at the same time reduce the costs of purchasing equipment.
You can count on ours comprehensive support. As part of our services, we provide:
1.
Professional selection of an air conditioner (air-to-air heat pumps). We will carefully analyze your needs and match them with a device that meets the program's assumptions. Thanks to this, purchasing an air-to-air heat pump will not only reduce the burden on your home budget, but will also ensure optimal thermal comfort.
The selection of equipment is especially important if it will also be used for interior heating. In such a case, it is worth conducting an energy audit of the building, which will help determine the building's heat demand. This will allow you to use the air conditioner all year round.
2.
Installation of an air-to-air heat pump. We will professionally install an air conditioner operating as an air-to-air heat pump in accordance with industry standards. Thanks to this, the system will function flawlessly and in accordance with your requirements.
3.
Periodic inspections and service. We are perfectly aware that investing in an air conditioner (or an air-to-air heat pump) is a significant expense. To keep the equipment in proper technical condition, it is not enough to professionally install and use the device in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. It is also important to perform regular inspections and systematic servicing of the device.
As part of our services, we provide periodic inspections and servicing of air conditioners, which allows you to keep the equipment in good condition proper technical condition and translates into its long service life. It also allows you to detect failures and errors in use in advance.
The recruitment of applications for the Moje Prąd program is still ongoing. However, it is worth hurrying, because the interest in financing for heat pumps is high, and applicants have until December 22, 2023 or until exhaustion of the dedicated pool of funds. As suggested by the deputy head of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, if the pace of subsidy payments is maintained, the expected budget will be exhausted before the planned end date of the call for applications. So don't think too long.
Czy heat pump is it worth it in 2023?
What can you gain by investing in it?
The popularity of heat pumps – both air-air and air-water variants – is growing every year. This ecological solutions, which, if properly selected, can be used not only for heating (and in the case of air conditioners, also cooling) interiors, but even for preparing domestic hot water. Why is a heat pump still a profitable investment in 2023?
Here are the benefits that speak for it:
In the face of mounting problems with network infrastructure and increasingly frequent energy crises, an installation with photovoltaics and a heat pump ensures self-sufficiency and energy independence for the household.
Importantly, the more people invest in air-to-air or air-to-water heat pumps, the faster this will happen Poland's energy transformation. It is therefore not surprising that heat pumps were included in the fifth edition of the Moje Prąd program. What funding can you count on?
Subsidies for heat pumps – how much can you gain thanks to the Moje Prąd 5.0 program?
The maximum amount of funding in the Moje Prąd 5.0 program is: 58 thousand zlotys. This is how much you can gain by investing in all subsidized elements, such as a photovoltaic micro-installation, energy storage, EMS/HEMS system, solar collectors and an air-air heat pump or an air-water heat pump.
The subsidy for the heat pump itself cannot exceed 50% of eligible costs, and the amount of the subsidy depends on the type of heat pump used and its energy class. Maximum subsidy, which you can get under the Moje Prąd program when investing in a heat pump, is:
- 4 400 zł – for air-air pump,
- 12 600 zł – for an air-water heat pump,
- 19 400 zł – for an air-water heat pump with a higher energy class,
- 28 500 zł – for a ground heat pump.
Importantly, the air conditioners available in our offer (air-to-air pumps) meet the requirements of defined by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW) for the Moje Prąd 5.0 program. – have an energy class for the temperate zone of at least A+ for the heating function.

Who is eligible for funding for a heat pump in 2023? My Electricity 5.0 program
The intended purpose of the Moje Prąd 5.0 program is to support those prosumers who: they produce electricity for own needs. As a result, they can benefit from it:
- applicants who settle accounts for the electricity produced in the net-billing system, but have not yet benefited from funding for a photovoltaic micro-installation,
- applicants who settle the electricity produced in the discount system (net-metering), but have not yet benefited from co-financing for a photovoltaic micro-installation, unless they switch to net-billing,
- applicants who settle the energy produced in the net-metering system and have already benefited from co-financing for a photovoltaic micro-installation, e.g. during previous editions of the Moje Prąd program, but want to invest in other devices, such as an air-air pump (air conditioner).
Remember if you have one in your home fuel boiler, you cannot count on funding for the purchase of an air-to-air heat pump (air conditioner) under the Moje Prąd 5.0 program. In such a case, however, you can use the Clean Air program to gain financial support for replacing the stove.
However, there is an exception to the above rule. You will receive a refund for an air-to-air heat pump in the Moje Prąd 5.0 program if your solid fuel boiler is wood biomass boiler with reduced emission of solid particles of ≤ 20 mg/m3 or a fireplace used for recreational purposes that meets the ecodesign requirements and standards included in local anti-smog resolutions.
Heat pumps – subsidy. Conditions to be met to receive a subsidy
To obtain funding for an air-to-air heat pump, certain conditions must be met. Here are the most important things program requirements and rules My Current 5.0.
1.
Grants from the Moje Prąd 5.0 program are awarded for: projects already completed. To receive funding for a heat pump, you must be the owner of a photovoltaic micro-installation with a capacity of 2 kWh to 10 kWh and an air-to-air heat pump on the day of submitting the application.
2.
The subsidy can only be received for new, unused heat pumpsthat were manufactured within 24 months before installation.
3.
Co-financing for an air conditioner (air-to-air heat pump) is available for expenses incurred by the investor from February 1, 2020.
4.
The higher the energy class of an air-to-air heat pump (which usually means a higher price), the betterhigher subsidy you can get.
5.
To obtain financing for an air conditioner, the investor undertakes that after the funds are paid, all installed and used devices used for heating or preparing domestic hot water will be will meet the target requirements of local legal acts (e.g. anti-smog resolutions) applicable in the location of the building covered by financial support, even if they provide for more stringent conditions for the purchase or installation of a heat pump.
6.
An applicant who has received reimbursement for a heat pump is obliged to operate it for at least from the date of obtaining the subsidy.
7.
Financing for heat pumps will not be provided if the equipment has been financed using leasing, unless the ownership rights were transferred to the Applicant at least on the day of submitting the application.
8.
The subsidy for the heat pump will be granted only if the project is implemented in accordance with air protection programs and the requirements of Directive 2008/50/EC on air quality and cleaner air for Europe and to reduce emissions.
Importantly, the current applicant does not have to meet practically any income requirementsto receive funding for an air conditioner (heat pump) under the Moje Prąd 5.0 program.
