Heat pumps
Heat pumps are an increasingly popular solution used in Polish homes, which allows you to reduce the costs of obtaining hot utility water and heating or cooling in buildings. What's more, it is a fully ecological solution that helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere, reducing the need to use fossil fuels in central heating systems.
ClimaPolska also wants to participate in pro-ecological activities aimed at improving the condition of the atmosphere. At the same time, we want to provide you with proven solutions that will meet your expectations both in terms of ecology, as well as energy efficiency and operational efficiency. That is why we recommend air-to-water heat pump systems, which were created by manufacturers supplying the market with high-class, reliable devices that guarantee full comfort of use.
Toshiba
Systems for hot water preparation, heating and cooling, ESTIA and ESTIA Powerful and thermodynamic heat pumps (monoblock); enable connection to a photovoltaic system
Daikin
Premium low and high temperature heat pumps for domestic hot water, heating and cooling, for use with pedestal, wall mounted and ducted fan coil units
Mitsubishi Electric
Ecodan systems for domestic hot water, heating and cooling, based on 3 different inverter technologies Power Inverter, Eco Inverter and Zubadan Inverter, for use with mono and bivalent systems.
Principle of operation of air-to-water heat pumps
The heat pump uses the energy stored in the air to heat/cool the air in rooms and prepare domestic hot water. It is one of the most popular sources of renewable energy and helps to improve the purity of atmospheric air. The air taken in by the heat pump from the outside, thanks to the refrigerant and compression, generates heat, which is then used to prepare domestic hot water and heat the air as part of central heating. What's more, the heat pump can also be used to cool rooms. In this case, the cooling process is the opposite of heating - that is, the refrigerant receives heat energy from the water in the system and discharges it outside. As a result, heat pumps are used throughout the calendar year, while providing the facility with hot water.
Air-to-water heat pumps - advantages of use
Heat pumps are systems that can be flexibly adapted to the needs of facility users. May be assembled in new buildings before they are commissioned, but there are also solutions that can be applied to existing central heating installations. Heat pump systems can work with radiators, underfloor heating, fan coil units (also ducted or floor mounted).
What's more, the heat pump system can be connected to photovoltaics, thanks to which it will not generate any costs, because it will draw electricity from the sun. Another solution is to combine heat pumps with other energy sources - e.g. with a gas or oil heating boiler, as well as a system of collectors for heating domestic hot water.
Heat pumps will be used in residential buildings - such as apartments or houses, but also in larger buildings - public buildings, schools, hotels, tourist facilities and others (cascade heat pump systems).
How to choose the right heat pump system?
Without a doubt, the most important feature of a heat pump system is its efficiency. It will be responsible for the proper temperature conditions in the rooms, regardless of the conditions outside the facility. Therefore, when choosing a heat pump, it is worth checking at what external temperatures it will work efficiently. An interesting solution is to create a hybrid system that will use a heat pump and another source of heat energy - e.g. a gas, oil or pellet boiler. Another important feature of such a system are operating costs, which will be borne by the owner/user. Seasonal coefficients of efficiency SCOP (for heat) and SEER (for cooling) will play an important role here.
If you care about the condition of the natural environment and clean air in the immediate vicinity, it is worth investing in a heat pump system. Care for ecology can go hand in hand with reducing expenses and full comfort of use. Want to know more? Feel free to contact us.
