The units operate at temperatures down to -20°C, meaning they can not only provide additional heating during transitional periods when temperatures hover around 0°C, but also provide heating in winter.
High heating efficiency is ensured by an intelligent defrosting system. It operates automatically, eliminating ice buildup on the outdoor unit, which significantly reduces system efficiency. You can also manually defrost the condenser using the app or remote control.

Toshiba Shorai Curve - Advanced Inverter Technology
