In the Altherma 3 system, the indoor unit contains a heat exchanger and a domestic hot water tank. As a result, the unit has much smaller requirements in terms of installation space - a small footprint of 600x600mm and a height of 1,65m for a 180l tank and 1,85m for a 230l tank is enough. The advantage of the indoor unit is also a beautiful design.
