In the past, the air conditioner was one device. It was mounted in the window opening so that part of the device was inside the building and part outside. Today, the air conditioner consists of two independent devices connected by a cable - an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. This gives much more freedom to install air conditioners in rooms, as well as translates into the availability of various types of indoor units.

The standard indoor unit of the split type air conditioner consists of an inlet opening, an inlet grille, an outlet opening, a built-in air filter, an air ionizer, vertical guides for adjusting the air flow to the sides, a horizontal flap for adjusting the air flow in the up-down axis, a safety switch and a display. Construction of the air conditioner - external unit
The outdoor unit consists of an evaporator, compressor, condenser and expansion valve. It is responsible for supplying cool air to the indoor unit and releasing warm air to the outside. Outdoor units come in two variants - as split and multisplit units. Only one indoor unit can be connected to split units. Multisplit units can simultaneously cooperate with several indoor units, enabling their independent operation, and thus supplying air of different temperatures to different rooms.

Modern mobile air conditioners are designed and manufactured in such a way that they do not take up too much space and are easy to use. Most often, these are individual devices that combine the internal and external units of the air conditioner. Their use may require leading the hot air discharge pipe through a window opening. They are characterized by modern design and different cooling power, which translates into the possibility of optimal selection of the device for the room regardless of the surface. The construction of a mobile air conditioner allows it to be used practically anywhere, regardless of whether the facility has the possibility of air conditioning installation split/multisplit type or not.
